Job Summary

BCIT's Student Services department is seeking a temporary, full-time Registered Nurse to provide primary care to the BCIT student community. The on-campus medical clinic offers a range of nursing services, including immunization and vaccination, health promotion, and patient triage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide primary care to BCIT students, including immunization and vaccination services, health promotion, and patient triage.
  • Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary health team to provide comprehensive care to students.
  • Develop and implement health awareness programs on campus.
  • Participate in various groups and committees to promote student health and well-being.

Qualifications

  • Baccalaureate degree in Nursing.
  • Current BCCNM practicing license and valid CPR certificate.
  • Minimum five years related experience, preferably working with post-secondary student populations.
  • Experience with immunizations, TB Skin testing, contact screening, and phlebotomy.
  • Clinical experience in primary, public, and mental health care ideal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
