We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our team at Fellburn Care Centre in Burnaby, B.C.
Job Summary:This is a Relief Part-Time opportunity that offers a unique chance to work with a diverse population and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents and clients.
Responsibilities:- Provide person-centered, direct nursing care to residents and clients, including wound care, dementia care, and palliative care.
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to identify current or potential care concerns and develop care plans.
- Communicate effectively with residents, clients, and families to ensure their needs are met and their rights are respected.
- Participate in quality improvement activities and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Provide leadership and clinical guidance to other healthcare professionals and students.
- Graduate of an approved School of Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing.
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- One (1) year's recent, related gerontological nursing experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
