About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at McDonald's Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and motivate a team of over 20 employees to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching to improve employee performance.
  • Operations and Logistics
    • Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient operations.
    • Implement cost-saving measures and optimize menu pricing to drive sales growth.
  • Customer Service and Experience
    • Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage cash handling, balance sheets, and financial reports to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
    • Monitor and control expenses to achieve budget targets.
  • Technology and Systems
    • Operate electronic cash registers, point-of-sale systems, and other technology to manage sales and customer transactions.
    • Use Microsoft Office and other software to manage inventory, scheduling, and other operational tasks.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
    • 3-5 years of experience in a restaurant management or supervisory role.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software.
