Our programs aim to build capacity for local nonprofits while equipping participants with the knowledge and experience to become better volunteers, donors, and community advocates.
Job DescriptionThe Regional Community Manager will play a critical role in expanding our presence in the Bay Area, specifically in the South Bay/Peninsula region. This individual will work directly with our Executive Director to drive the continued development and growth of our organization.
The Regional Community Manager will be responsible for leading workshops, scoping projects with local nonprofits, recruiting new fellows, and engaging alumni in social impact opportunities. These learnings will inform our future growth and structure, ensuring our communities have the resources they need to thrive.
Responsibilities- Recruit young professionals to become Project Leads and Fellows, developing strong relationships with local nonprofits and scoping partner projects.
- Lead workshops and teach our social impact curriculum to Fellows, building a community of courageous changemakers based in the South Bay.
- Collaborate with our growth and development team to develop our brand and marketing strategy, communicating our mission to external stakeholders and the broader public.
- Fundraise for our mission and vision, improving and implementing our organizational strategy with our Executive Director, Board of Directors, Alumni Board, and other key stakeholders.
- Possess a deep passion and commitment for our mission.
- Have experience communicating and empathizing with both nonprofit staff and young professionals in the San Francisco Bay Area.
- Demonstrate ability to execute, operate, and quickly adapt in a self-directed manner.
- Showcase experience managing groups of people or significant projects.
- Demonstrate significant fundraising experience or equivalent sales experience.
- Exhibit strong presentation, interpersonal, and networking skills.
- Demonstrate excellent organization and self-management abilities.
We offer an annual salary of $65,000, based on experience, including health, vision, and dental insurance, as well as significant paid time off. The position requires 40 hours per week, including multiple nights per week and approximately one weekend per month for workshops and events.
