Scope of Position

This executive position leads the company through its next stage of growth. The incumbent leaves a growing, profitable company with solid industry fundamentals, a superb reputation, high analyst rankings, a large and loyal customer base, a motivated team, and a clear product roadmap and strategy for explosive growth.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Working with the Board of Directors and senior management team to refine strategic and operating plans, priorities, and options.
  • Oversight of day-to-day operations to ensure timely implementation and execution of business and financial plans.
  • Architecting the organization to have in place human resources, processes, and operational capabilities to scale and maintain a corporate culture that outperforms.
  • Providing ongoing direction, performance management, and developmental support to the team.
  • Maintaining, improving, and creating senior-level relationships with existing and potential customers and strategic partners.
  • Ensuring operational milestones are met on time, with high quality, and meeting established cost objectives.
  • Staying abreast of the industry, competitors, and trends to consider and pursue attractive alliance, acquisition, and investment opportunities.

Key Performance Indicators

In light of the identified responsibilities, the following specific deliverables are designed to achieve:

  • Measures of performance relating to growth, profitability, customer satisfaction, etc.
  • Able to stand back from immediate problems to focus on more far-reaching ideas.
  • Applying appropriate commercial and financial principles.
  • Evaluating current and emerging best practices in analytics software and services relative to the enterprise's strategic plan.

Preferred Experience / Education

The ideal candidate has:

  • A highly intelligent, strategically minded background with superb communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience in a software or technology-based company required.
  • A track record of working with and scaling mid-sized enterprise software companies (over $50 million) driving accelerated revenue growth over extended periods.
  • A strong team orientation, well-suited to building consensus in a growing concern.
  • Change management and business transformation experience within mid-sized companies.

Salary Estimate: $250,000 - $400,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
