At CPP Investments, we are seeking an experienced Strategic Technology Director for Enterprise Systems to lead our technology teams in delivering innovative solutions that meet the needs of our business stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and technical expertise to drive the development and implementation of enterprise systems that support our HR, Legal & Compliance, and Public Affairs and Communications departments.

This is a key role within our organization, and the right candidate will have a proven track record of success in leading technology teams, driving business growth, and implementing effective solutions that meet the needs of diverse stakeholders. About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced technology leader who can provide strategic direction and technical expertise to drive the development and implementation of enterprise systems that support our business goals. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of software development methodologies, experience in leading technology teams, and a proven track record of success in driving business growth through the implementation of effective technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and technical expertise to drive the development and implementation of enterprise systems that support our business goals.
  • Lead technology teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet the needs of our business stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement effective software development methodologies to ensure efficient and high-quality delivery of technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop technology solutions that meet those needs.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their roles.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in technology with a focus on software development.
  • Proven track record of success in leading technology teams and driving business growth through the implementation of effective technology solutions.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies and ability to lead technology teams to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with business stakeholders.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or any other quantitative field.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of $170,000 - $200,000 per year, based on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off. Our office is located in Toronto, Canada, and we offer a hybrid work environment that combines in-office collaboration and remote working.
