Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor - Yard Operations

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our yard operations team at Red Seal Recruiting Solutions Ltd. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a leadership role and contribute to the success of our organization.

Salary: The estimated salary range for this position is between $65,000 to $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

About the Role:

The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of our equipment and facilities, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and effectively. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of maintenance personnel to ensure all tasks are completed on time and within budget;
  • Developing and implementing maintenance schedules and plans to prevent equipment failure and minimize downtime;
  • Coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration;
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance;
  • Identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving measures.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A certificate or diploma in a related field, such as mechanical engineering or industrial maintenance;
  • At least 1 year of experience in a maintenance supervisory role, preferably in a similar industry;
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
