Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Alpine Irrigation. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our grounds, ensuring they are safe and aesthetically pleasing for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and schedule staff to ensure efficient completion of grounds maintenance tasks
  • Plan and direct grounds maintenance activities, including landscaping and construction projects
  • Estimate labour and materials required for projects and manage budgets
  • Manage and supervise landscape construction work, ensuring high-quality results
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of work completed
  • Tender and administer contracts for grounds maintenance services
  • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Establish and manage work schedules and procedures
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in grounds maintenance or a related field
  • Basic security clearance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods
  • English language proficiency
  • 40 hours per week, permanent position
