Job Title: Grounds Maintenance Supervisor

Alpine Irrigation is seeking a highly skilled Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our grounds and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and schedule staff to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations
  • Plan and direct grounds maintenance activities, including landscaping and hardscaping
  • Manage and supervise landscape construction work, including hiring and training staff
  • Maintain accurate work records and logs, including labor and materials estimates
  • Tender and administer contracts for maintenance services
  • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to staff
  • Establish and maintain work schedules and procedures
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in grounds maintenance or a related field
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods
  • Basic security clearance required
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Standing for extended periods
Language:
  • English is the primary language of communication
Work Schedule:
  • 40 hours per week
