As an HR Partner at Amazon, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the employee experience across our global organization. This exciting opportunity requires a seasoned Human Resources professional with expertise in talent management, employee relations, and performance improvement.
About the Job
We are seeking a skilled HR Partner to join our team, focusing on supporting people managers in creating a positive and inclusive work environment. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Employee Relations & Support: You will be the point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance on company policies and procedures. Additionally, you will coordinate with the legal department and ER POC on ER matters, conducting investigations as needed.
- Performance Management: You will work closely with people managers to address performance concerns, supporting them through the process and finalizing separation agreements. Your analytical skills will help identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance management practices.
- Talent Management and People Development Consulting: As an HR Partner, you will consult with managers on compensation matters, develop toolkit and communications to enhance their self-sufficiency with Talent Reviews, and guide them in career conversations, Development Plans/Career Growth Plans, and other development initiatives.
- HR General: You will act as a steward of the employee experience, designing and delivering Manager Education Programs to drive collective education and manager effectiveness. Your project management skills will enable you to complete cross-functional projects and develop programs that improve the employee experience and increase manager capability.
A Day in the Life
You will thrive in a high-pressure environment, managing multiple priorities and possessing intellectual curiosity to bring insights to the team and business. A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, along with 5 years of relevant experience, is required. A Master's degree in HR or a related field is preferred. Business and HR acumen, strong problem-solving skills, high judgment, critical thinking, and analysis are essential qualities for this role.
Benefits and Compensation
The base salary for this position ranges from $67,000/year up to $111,800/year. Salary is based on a number of factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company, offering equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
