Job Title: Patient Relations Associate
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Relations Associate to join our team at WRHA Corporate. As a key member of our patient relations team, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining positive relationships with patients, families, and caregivers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure their needs are met and concerns are addressed.
- Provide exceptional customer service and respond to patient complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to resolve patient complaints and concerns.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and experience.
- Provide education and support to patients and families on healthcare services and policies.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to identify and address systemic issues that impact patient care.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners to enhance patient care and services.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience working in a healthcare setting.
- 3 years of experience in patient relations or a related field.
- Post-secondary degree in a relevant field such as healthcare, social sciences, or communications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with diverse patient populations.
- Knowledge of healthcare policies and procedures.
- Experience in conflict resolution and mediation.
