Key Responsibilities- Develop and launch pricing and monetization strategies that drive revenue growth and expansion across our portfolio.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Go-to-Market, and Product, to determine the right pricing strategies and models for our products and services.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the market, and develop insights to inform our pricing and monetization strategies.
- Work closely with our Product Management and Business Operations teams to implement pricing and packaging changes within our products and quote-to-cash systems.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our customers' needs, preferences, and willingness to pay, and use this knowledge to inform our pricing and monetization strategies.
- Drive change management and alignment across the organization to ensure successful implementation of pricing and monetization strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Business, or an equivalent; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in strategy consulting, pricing, strategic finance, corporate strategy, deal strategy, and value management, ideally in a SaaS or enterprise software company.
- 2+ years of experience in a value-based monetization/pricing strategy role, applying willingness to pay methodologies, ideally in a SaaS or enterprise software company.
- Strong analytical background with experience using analytics, BI, and CRM solutions (Tableau, Salesforce, Google Sheets, Excel).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize and articulate insights and align diverse stakeholders on pricing recommendations.
- Ability to quickly grasp new product concepts across a variety of technologies and consistently apply critical and structured thinking to new areas.
- Action-oriented with a strong ability to solve problems and drive results in short timeframes.
- Demonstrated leadership experience driving complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills across all levels of the organization.
- Competitive annual base salary range: $134,000 - $202,000 USD (California, Colorado, New York, and Washington) or $150,000 - $226,000 USD (San Francisco Bay Area).
