About the Job

The ideal candidate will lead complex electronics systems from concept to production launch, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Electronics Design: Oversee the design and development of electronics systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability.
  • Circuit Design: Create detailed circuit schematics, analyze and simulate circuits, and work closely with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of electronic systems into the overall product architecture.
  • PCB Layout: Oversee the PCB layout process, ensuring signal integrity, power distribution, and thermal considerations are meticulously addressed.
  • Component Selection: Evaluate and select electronic components based on performance, availability, and cost considerations.
  • Prototype Testing: Collaborate with the prototyping team to build and test prototypes, troubleshoot issues, and iterate on designs for continuous improvement.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with hardware engineers, software engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and knowledge transfer within the team.
  • Documentation: Generate comprehensive design documentation, including specifications, test plans, and reports, to facilitate communication and knowledge transfer within the team.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements.
About You

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A BS degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in an electronics design role.
  • Strong analytical skills and demonstrable knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in a schematic capture and PCB layout tool (preferably Altium).
  • Experience with mixed-signal design, project management systems, and embedded design (hardware and firmware).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
