Littelfuse is a leading global manufacturer of electronic components, serving over 100,000 end customers across various industries. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be part of the development team in Saskatoon, SK, responsible for designing, developing, and testing protective relays.

About the Job:
  • Electronics Design: Lead the design and development of complex electronics systems from concept to production launch, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
  • Circuit Design: Create detailed circuit schematics, analyze and simulate circuits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability.
  • PCB Layout: Oversee the PCB layout process, ensuring signal integrity, power distribution, and thermal considerations are meticulously addressed.
  • Component Selection: Evaluate and select electronic components based on performance, availability, and cost considerations.
  • Prototype Testing: Collaborate with the prototyping team to build and test prototypes, troubleshoot issues, and iterate on designs for continuous improvement.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with hardware engineers, software engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of electronic systems into the overall product architecture.
  • Documentation: Generate comprehensive design documentation, including specifications, test plans, and reports, to facilitate communication and knowledge transfer within the team.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements.
