The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering fundamentals, experience in schematic capture and PCB layout tools, and a proven track record of leading design and development projects from concept to production launch.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the design and development of complex electronics systems, ensuring adherence to standards and regulations
  • Creating detailed circuit schematics, analyzing and simulating circuits, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability
  • Overseeing the PCB layout process, ensuring signal integrity, power distribution, and thermal considerations are meticulously addressed
  • Evaluating and selecting electronic components based on performance, availability, and cost considerations
  • Collaborating with the prototyping team to build and test prototypes, troubleshoot issues, and iterate on designs for continuous improvement
  • Working closely with hardware engineers, software engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of electronic systems into the overall product architecture
  • Generating comprehensive design documentation, including specifications, test plans, and reports, to facilitate communication and knowledge transfer within the team
  • Ensuring designs comply with relevant industry standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements

Prior experience in a similar role, a BS degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field, and excellent analytical skills are essential. Proficiency in a schematic capture and PCB layout tool, such as Altium, is also required. Experience with mixed signal design, project management, and simulation applications is highly desirable.
