As a Plant Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient management of waste. Your responsibilities will include unloading waste from vehicles, decontaminating vehicles, and staging waste for scanning and processing.

Key Job Activities:

  • Unload waste from incoming vehicles and separate non-autoclavable waste for incineration
  • Stage waste on conveyor systems or properly stack waste for scanning in the Biotrack system
  • Scan waste into the Biotrack system for proper recordkeeping purposes
  • Load autoclave bins or incinerator hoppers with waste for processing
  • Decontaminate vehicles and cargo-carrying portions, reload assigned reusable tubs, and ensure cargo-carrying portions do not have free liquid on the floor
  • Address housekeeping issues, such as spills, floor dryness, and debris, immediately
Education and Experience:

Preferred education: high school or equivalent. 0-1 years of experience, preferably in a plant environment. Ability to communicate effectively and understand and follow health and safety directives and performance and conduct standards, policies, and procedures that apply to the role and location.
