Plant Operations Specialist

Job Title: Plant Operations Specialist
About the Role:
Stericycle is a leading provider of compliance-based solutions that protect people and brands, promote health and well-being, and safeguard the environment. We are seeking a Plant Operations Specialist to join our team in Brampton, Ontario.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unload waste from incoming vehicles and separate non-autoclavable waste for incineration
- Stage waste on conveyor systems or properly stack waste for scanning in the Biotrack system
- Scan waste into the Biotrack system for proper recordkeeping purposes
- Load autoclave bins or incinerator hoppers with waste for processing
- Decontaminate vehicles and cargo-carrying portions, reload assigned reusable tubs, and ensure cargo-carrying portions do not have free liquid on the floor
- Address housekeeping issues, such as spills, floor dryness, and debris, immediately
Requirements:
- 0-1 years of experience in a plant environment
- Ability to communicate effectively and understand and follow health and safety directives and performance and conduct standards, policies, and procedures that apply to the role and location
