About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at the City of Prince George. As a key member of our Parks and Solid Waste Division, you will provide essential clerical and administrative support services to our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide reception services, including answering inquiries from the public and processing registrations and applications.
  • Prepare correspondence and documents, and process cash, deposits, credit card sales, timesheets, invoices, requisitions, payments, and reconciliations.
  • Update and maintain information/records in various systems.
Requirements
  • Two years of related experience in office administration, with a focus on processing cash and credit card transactions.
  • Grade 12 and a post-secondary vocational or college course/program in business, bookkeeping, office administration, or a related field.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office and data entry.
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail skills.
  • A commitment to performing quality work.
