About the Role

This full-time position reports to the Director of Sales, WAFES, Western Canada, and is responsible for driving profitable sales growth through strategic market analysis, customer engagement, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the oil and gas industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of sales success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth, increase client retention, and expand business opportunities.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and challenges in the oil and gas sector.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Indigenous Relations team to develop and implement strategic initiatives that support the interests of Indigenous communities.
  • Forecasting and Planning: Assist in developing quarterly and annual forecasts for product and service offerings, ensuring accurate projections and informed business decisions.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree or technical diploma in commerce, business administration, engineering, or a related field (asset).
  • A minimum of five years of experience in sales and/or business development, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • Previous experience in sales strategy development, market analysis, and cross-functional collaboration (asset).
  • A valid driver's license and flexibility to travel.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
