We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team at EHN Canada.

Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate individual to work with patients struggling with mental health and addiction issues. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will be responsible for providing individualized treatment plans, facilitating group sessions, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

You will work closely with patients to identify treatment goals, develop abstinence-based recovery plans, and provide ongoing support throughout their journey. Your expertise in evidence-based modalities, such as cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and trauma-informed care, will be essential in helping patients achieve optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized treatment plans and facilitate group sessions
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Develop abstinence-based recovery plans and provide ongoing support
  • Facilitate psychoeducational groups using evidence-based modalities
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
  • Liaise with patients' family members, referral sources, and community providers
  • Participate in Quality Assurance activities and complete outcome measures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess a Master's degree in Counselling or Social Work, preferably with experience working in mental health and addiction services.
