Estimated Salary

$68 per hour based on part-time schedule


Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Nanaimo and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will work with diverse populations, including orthopedics, mental health, neurology, and persistent pain. Key responsibilities include:

  • Functional assessments and job site visits
  • Development of graduated activity and return-to-work plans
  • Liaising with healthcare teams and payer representatives

You will utilize your exceptional communication, clinical, and organizational skills to deliver outcomes that change lives. Our clients require active rehabilitation to increase independence in home and community settings before returning to work.


Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • A reliable vehicle for clinical appointments
  • Experience working with agency payers (an asset)
  • Commitment to continuous learning through professional development courses
  • COTBC membership or eligibility for registration
