Job Summary

The Grand Council Treaty #3 is hiring a Community Reintegration Project Coordinator to lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Kenora Community Reintegration Planning Table. The successful candidate will work closely with Community Reintegration Officers and Kenora District Jail staff to provide comprehensive support services for individuals upon release.

Main Duties:
  • Coordinate the Community Reintegration Planning Table to ensure effective collaboration and representation.
  • Facilitate regular meetings to discuss release planning, support services, and program evaluation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Support the administration of Justice Programs by performing related duties as required.
  • Cultivate a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the organization.
Essential Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Law, Criminology, Social Work, or Psychology.
  • Experience in counseling, crisis intervention, project coordination, or case management.
  • Strong knowledge of Indigenous cultures, traditions, and systemic barriers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
