About the Role

Astellas Pharma Canada is seeking a highly skilled HR Services Advisor to join our team. As an HR Services Advisor, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to employees and managers across the organization, ensuring that HR policies and procedures are implemented consistently and effectively.

You will work closely with the HR Business Partner and other stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to enhance the employee experience. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that our HR systems and processes are aligned with our business objectives and that our employees have the support they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures
  • Work closely with the HR Business Partner and other stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions
  • Ensure that HR systems and processes are aligned with business objectives
  • Provide support to employees and managers to ensure a positive and productive work environment
Requirements
  • Education – HR Administrator profession
  • Experience across core HR functions (e.g. Compensation, Benefits, Performance Management, etc.) with specific experience in HR process design, policy advice and employee administration
  • Experience in working within a Shared Service Centre environment
  • A broad understanding of the HR employee lifecycle
  • Fluent in written and verbal business English
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
  • Experience in providing HR policy and process related advice and guidance
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement within a Shared Service Centre environment
  • Proficient with MS office and Outlook
  • Excellent Microsoft excel skills
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Proactive
  • Collaborative with peers and colleagues to drive involvement and engagement
