Job Title: Insurance Advisor

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Insurance Advisor to join their team in their Direct to Consumer Channel. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and customer-focused individual to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the company's explosive growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Understand customer insurance needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Quote and sell personal insurance policies, including home and auto
  • Assist new customers with their insurance needs and provide exceptional customer service
  • Service existing customers by updating their policies to meet their changing needs and provide new products as required
  • Drive strong customer retention by delivering a world-class customer experience
  • Underwrite new business, policy endorsements, and renewals by obtaining necessary information from customers
  • Stay up-to-date on underwriting and regulatory guidelines
Requirements:
  • College diploma or university degree
  • Sales and customer service experience (mandatory)
  • OTL or RIBO licensed (required)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer-focused and able to match products to customer needs
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to self-manage and prioritize work
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software applications
  • Insurance sales/service underwriting experience (an asset)
  • Actively working towards CIP or FCIP designation (an asset)
