The Opportunity

The Human Resources team supports the Bayshore Specialty RX division in all aspects of HR, including employee relations, engagement, performance management, and more. We're seeking an experienced Payroll and HR Administrator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

As a Payroll and HR Administrator, you'll be responsible for processing multiple high-complexity payrolls, maintaining employee records, and ensuring payroll data is accurate and up-to-date. You'll also provide guidance and support to employees and leaders, and participate in the development and implementation of HR programs and initiatives.

Key Areas of Focus:

  • Full-cycle processing of multiple high-complexity payrolls using PeopleSoft Application
  • Verifying payroll edit reports and balancing payrolls prior to submission
  • Responding to incoming calls and emails from multiple locations, delivering exceptional customer service
  • Advising BSRx on payroll-related legislative requirements
  • Remitting, analyzing, and reconciling garnishees for the respective division
  • Preparing and distributing T2200s for assigned locations
  • Completing third-party remittances as assigned
  • Liaising and communicating information with branch offices as required
  • Ensuring the accuracy of new onboarding and internal transfer details into PeopleSoft
  • Ensuring the accuracy of employee entitlements, including vacation, overtime, and holiday pay
  • Adhering to Bayshore Policies and Procedures
  • Participating in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Participating in proactive Health & Safety activities
  • Maintaining confidentiality of client and corporate information
  • Working flexible hours as required to meet deliverables and business needs
  • Actively participating in regularly scheduled team meetings

Job Qualification

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Payroll and HR Administrator with a strong background in payroll processing, HR, and customer service. You'll have a minimum of 3 years of experience in multi-province payroll processing, intermediate MS Office applications, and PeopleSoft payroll application. You'll also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
