Job Summary:

The University of Saskatchewan is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Coordinator to join the Veterinary Medical Centre team. As a key member of the HR team, you will provide high-level support and coordination to the VMC, ensuring the smooth functioning of day-to-day HR activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide recruitment support, including job profile creation, job advertisements, interview guides, and reference checks.
  • Develop and maintain HR reports, templates, and dashboards to support data-driven decision making.
  • Assist in the implementation of HR programs and projects, ensuring compliance with university policies and procedures.
  • Act as the first point of contact for queries, issues, and concerns, providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and protection guidelines, maintaining confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.

Requirements:

  • A relevant university degree, preferably in Human Resources or a related field.
  • A minimum of two years of generalist HR experience, preferably in a diverse and inclusive environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior administrators and confidential information.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and strong internet research skills.
