Human Resources Coordinator, Veterinary Medical Centre

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Coordinator to provide support and coordination to the Veterinary Medical Centre (VMC) within the Western College of Veterinary Medicine.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide high-level support and coordination to the VMC, including recruitment, job profiles, job advertisements, interview guides, and reference checks.
  2. Develop and implement HR programs, reports, and metrics to support the smooth functioning of the day-to-day HR function.
  3. Assist in the rollout and implementation of HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  4. Ensure compliance with Data Privacy and Protection Guidelines and mitigate exposure to risk and liability.
  5. Build and maintain exceptional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing a high level of customer service in all interactions.

Requirements:

  • A relevant University degree, preferably in Human Resources or a related field.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of generalist Human Resources experience, preferably in a diverse and inclusive environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, exemplary interpersonal skills, and a high standard of professional integrity in handling sensitive information.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office Suite and strong internet research skills.
