Job Title: Human Resources Advisor

Join our team as a Human Resources Advisor, providing high-level support and coordination to the Veterinary Medical Centre (VMC) within the Western College of Veterinary Medicine.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Play a central support role in the life cycle of a clinic employee, including recruitment, job profiles, job advertisements, interview guides, and reference checks.
  • Develop standard and ad hoc reports, templates, dashboards, scorecards, and metrics to support HR processes.
  • Provide generalist HR support, aiding the smooth functioning of the day-to-day human resources function.
  • Assist in the rollout and implementation of HR programs and projects.
  • Ensure compliance with Data Privacy and Protection Guidelines and mitigate exposure to risk and liability.
Requirements:
  • A relevant University degree, preferably in Human Resources or a related field.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of generalist Human Resources experience, preferably in a diverse and inclusive environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, exemplary interpersonal skills, and a high standard of professional integrity in handling sensitive information.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office Suite and strong internet research skills.
