About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Hospital Contact Centre Agent. As a key member of our 24/7 operations, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to patients, families, and healthcare staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer multi-line computerized phone system calls and respond to incoming calls from within the hospital and externally.
  • Ask fact-finding questions and provide information in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Transfer callers to appropriate departments and respond to emergency calls in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Operate overhead PA system as per established guidelines and view online scheduling database to accurately page medical staff.
  • Update on-call schedules and process incoming emails.
Requirements
  • Grade 12 and one year's recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Relatable experience: working in customer service, retail, hospitality, booking clerk, Medical Office Assistant.
  • Ability to keyboard at 40 WPM.
