Seeking a Counsellor to join the Centre for Pelvic Pain and Endometriosis at BC Women's Hospital & Health Centre in Vancouver, BC.
About the Role:
- Provide one-on-one counselling sessions to individuals and couples experiencing chronic pelvic pain and endometriosis.
- Participate in interdisciplinary case management and co-facilitate educational workshops with the physiotherapist.
- Develop and deliver group programs, including pain education workshops and psychotherapeutic process groups.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with chronic pelvic pain and mental health concerns.

About the Job:
- Master's degree in a related allied health discipline, such as Counselling Psychology or Clinical Social Work.
- Specific training and certification in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, pain science, trauma/PTSD, and mindfulness-based therapies.
- Two years' experience in community and/or hospital organizations providing treatment services to chronic pain patients.
- Eligibility for membership and registration in the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors.
