Senior Supply Chain Procurement Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Strategist to join our team at CP. As a key member of our Mechanical Procurement team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of approximately $500M in spend.
Job Description- Develop and implement sourcing plans for a range of goods and services.
- Negotiate contracts for goods and/or services required by internal customers.
- Analyze bids, information and proposals, develop alternatives, perform value analysis to determine best price/value relationships and make recommendations.
- Achieve Cost Savings Initiatives, Capital Budgets, and Continuity of Service.
- University degree (graduate preferred) in a discipline with substantial quantitative content such as supply chain management, economics, business/commerce, or equivalent.
- At least 2 – 5 years' experience in the sourcing and procurement or related field, or strong business knowledge and negotiations experience in the sourcing Mechanical (Locomotive/Car) material and services.
- Demonstrated overall business acumen.
- Strong analytical skills, strategic thinker, good business case analysis and ability to translate customer technical requirements into sourcing deliverables.

The estimated salary for this role is between $80,000 - $120,000 per year, based on location and industry standards. We offer a competitive compensation package, including benefits and perks that support your career growth and well-being.
