Supply Chain Procurement Specialist

Adecco Canada is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Supply Chain Administrator for our client in Calgary, AB. This is a 1-year Contract role within the Oil & Gas sector, offering a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Create purchase requisitions from defined requirements to support Business Unit activities, monitor requisition approvals, and make changes as needed.
- Create and approve purchase orders accurately in a fast-paced setting.
- Manage the purchase order lifecycle, addressing queries and discrepancies related to receiving and invoicing.
- Collaborate effectively with Supply Chain Management Teams and Business Unit customers.
- Handle large volumes of purchase order confirmations and follow up as necessary to ensure timely processing.
- Identify issues and recommend improvements to the Team Lead.
- Manage goods receipt/invoice receipt imbalances.
- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
- Adult Learning Certifications in Supply Chain Management.
- 3+ years of experience in a procurement environment, ideally in Oil & Gas or construction.
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing the Purchase Order lifecycle.
- Experience with Maximo PO System; SAP MM experience is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical skills.
- Ability to handle a high volume of work.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
