Job Overview

Kiewit is seeking a skilled Procurement and Supply Chain Manager to oversee package and buyout tracking, logistics, inspection, and materials management on a proposal or project basis. This role provides leadership and management for the procurement of engineered equipment, subcontracts, professional services, commodities, permanent plant materials, and small tools and supplies.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and oversee all aspects of purchasing from pre-bid to closeout.
  • Negotiate contracts and formulate policies with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Monitor and oversee the execution of the purchasing buyout.
  • Direct and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying and/or estimating materials, equipment, and services.
  • Locate and evaluate vendor materials and equipment, subcontractors, and professional service providers.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and database utilization, with SAP experience a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, business, engineering, supply chain management, or equivalent degree, or a minimum of five years' experience in engineering and/or construction or equivalent work/field/military experience.
  • Experience as a Project Procurement Manager in the Oil, Gas & Chemicals business with a proven track record of successfully executed projects.
