Job Title: Procurement Manager

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at Colgate-Palmolive. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies for our Oral Care, Personal Care, and Home Care flexible materials in Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Partner with cross-functional teams to drive product innovation and meet quality and customer service standards.
  2. Develop a deep understanding of market trends and drivers for flexible materials, identifying opportunities and threats for the future.
  3. Manage relationships with strategic suppliers, ensuring effective collaboration and risk management.
  4. Prepare financial reports to track material process evolution and anticipate future needs.
  5. Lead "Top to Top" meetings with suppliers, driving business growth and sustainability.
  6. Engage with global and division stakeholders to align on business requirements, action plans, and strategies.
  7. Secure necessary support and resources for effective execution.
  8. Work with attorneys and suppliers to ensure contracts are in place for major materials.
  9. Implement segmentation analysis and strategies for all materials, driving standardization and simplification.
  10. Leverage digital tools to drive savings, simplification, and standardization programs.
  11. Continuously improve skills through digital and analytical tool mastery, providing coaching and feedback.
  12. Lead the Enhanced Supplier Management program, ensuring timely progress and best practices sharing.
  13. Represent the company in external industry forums and internal Purchasing Council meetings.
  14. Anticipate and mitigate risks related to new regulations, ensuring compliance with European Green Deal regulations.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of purchasing or supply chain experience, with SAP experience and project management skills an advantage.
  • B.A./B.S. degree in a technical or business field, with CPM and/or MBA desirable.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to drive complex material spends.
  • Global supply chain strategy and perspective, with experience in managing cross-organizational engagement.
  • Project management, business understanding, and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Business and global perspective, with a focus on consumer and customer needs.
