Position Overview:
The role of Procurement Assistant Manager is crucial for driving our procurement strategies and ensuring operational excellence. This position involves a moderate amount of travel and is based on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and report on Purchasing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in collaboration with the local Supply Chain.
  • Conduct effective negotiations for local raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
  • Oversee and implement the Procurement budget for designated materials and products.
  • Optimize inventory levels for raw and packaging materials.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to enforce purchasing policies and resolve issues.
  • Ensure successful execution of new product launches in conjunction with relevant teams.
  • Contribute to local growth funding initiatives.
  • Utilize SAP for daily operations, including price entry.
  • Leverage e-tools to drive growth funding and streamline processes.
  • Adhere to Colgate-Palmolive and governmental regulations regarding quality and safety for responsible materials.

Qualifications:

  • A Master's or Bachelor's Degree in a Technical or Business discipline.
  • Experience in Project Management is advantageous.
  • Background in manufacturing environments.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Experience in vendor assessments and strategic planning.
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English.
  • Willingness to travel to various company locations as needed.
