Role Overview: The Procurement Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in our operations, ensuring the achievement of Purchasing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) while collaborating closely with the local Supply Chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct effective negotiations for local raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
  • Implement and oversee the Procurement budget for assigned materials and products.
  • Optimize inventory levels for raw and packaging materials.
  • Engage with suppliers and internal teams, including Supply Chain, Technology, Marketing, and Finance, to uphold Purchasing policies and resolve issues.
  • Contribute to local Funding the Growth Programs and leverage SAP for daily operations.
  • Ensure compliance with Colgate-Palmolive and governmental regulations related to Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety (EOHS), Quality, and Regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

  • A Master's or Bachelor's Degree in a Technical or Business discipline.
  • Experience in Project Management is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with vendor evaluations and action planning.
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English.
