Job Summary:The Procurement Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing the procurement for Facilities Services for Colgate NA, Hills NA and Corporate Division. This includes conducting detailed spend, cost and market analysis and a structured approach to tendering and negotiating with suppliers.
The successful candidate will develop and maintain vendor relationships, track and analyze vendor spend and performance, and keep an elevated engagement and alignment with internal stakeholders and external partners to address the top business priorities, optimize the supply of these services and address cost reduction opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:- Developing and implementing a comprehensive procurement strategy for Integrated Facilities Management, Waste Management, Indirect Chemicals, Material Handling Equipment, Office Suppliers and Cleaning Services aligned with the organization's goals.
- Apply spend analytics best practices, and do frequent deep dives in the assigned categories.
- Update annual Supplier Segmentation in the category and risk management.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings or optimization.
- Follow the Global Procurement governance in all projects, CRMC (Contract Risk Management Committee) approvals, eSourcing tools, Supplier Code of Conduct sign off, etc.
- Identify and evaluate new suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with key vendors. Ensure compliance with contractual terms, monitor supplier performance, and resolve any issues.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities and follow Stakeholder engagement best practices to better understand the business needs and align on resources and priorities.
- Engage senior leaders in the Division as well as with Global and Division Engineering and enhance the global IFM management relationship.
- Stay updated with industry developments and best practices to effectively manage the category strategy.
- 7 plus years in the supply chain.
- 4 years in procurement.
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Science, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or relevant field.
