Key Responsibilities:- Prepare surfaces for tiling by measuring, marking, and cleaning them.
- Mix and apply adhesives, mortars, and other materials to ensure a strong bond between tiles and surfaces.
- Install tiles, aligning and straightening them to ensure a professional finish.
- Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power tools.
- Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles, and instruct apprentices in the correct techniques.
- Supervise other workers and estimate costs and materials for projects.
- 1-2 years of experience in tile fitting or a related field.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Commercial and residential tile fitting experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- 35 hours per week.
- Permanent employment.
- English language.
