Tile Setter

Bridgewater Tile Ltd is seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for preparing, measuring, and marking surfaces to be covered with tile. You will also mix, apply, and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using a hand trowel. Additionally, you will prepare rough plans and sketches, set tiles in place, and apply pressure to affix them to the base. Your attention to detail and ability to distinguish between colours will be essential in aligning and straightening tiles, cutting and fitting tiles around obstacles and openings, and packing grout into joints between tiles. If you have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the trade and are physically demanding, handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, and kneeling, we encourage you to apply. This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek and English as the primary language of work. We welcome newcomers and refugees and do not require Canadian work experience.
