Job Title: Tile Setter

Bridgewater Tile Ltd is seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for installing ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tiles in various settings, including residential and commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces for tile installation, including measuring, marking, and cleaning.
  • Mix and apply adhesives, grouts, and sealants to ensure a strong and durable bond.
  • Set tiles in place, using hand tools and power equipment to achieve precise cuts and alignments.
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings, using hand and power cutting tools.
  • Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout.
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles.
  • Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural, and floor designs.
  • Cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite.
  • Mix, lay, and polish terra surfaces.
  • Install tile strips.
Work Environment:

The Tile Setter will work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling. The ability to distinguish between colors and attention to detail are essential for this role.

Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in tile setting or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work at heights.
Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule:

The work schedule is 40 hours per week.
