Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bilingual Billing Administrator to join our team at Sun Life. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless management of billing processes for our diverse clientele.

Key Responsibilities

  • Code self-administered premiums by benefit and billing group
  • Audit the integrity of the lives, volumes, rates, premiums, and taxes submitted by policy-administered clients
  • Review the status of terminated policies and perform the final financial review
  • Set up ASO cases on the mainframe system
  • Compare the ASO agreement to the actual setup of the case to ensure accurate billing
  • Process claims adjustments and related accounting transactions for claim write-offs and stop-loss
  • Manage the collection of all outstanding receipts, premiums, and ASO deposits while meeting daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines
  • Perform other related administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

  • Bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required to answer calls from English and French speaking clients across Canada and worldwide.
  • Excellent customer focus to handle difficult client-related issues
  • Strong time management skills to meet daily deadlines
  • Ability to work well under pressure to manage departmental project initiatives with customized deadlines
  • Proficiency in Excel, including experience with Macros
  • Knowledge of Group Benefits and the administration of Self Administrative and ASO practices is an asset
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles for Insured and ASO arrangements is an asset
