We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Representative to join our team at Waterford Executive. As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales of our client's machines across Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Strategy and Execution:
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base for horizontal boring machines.
    • Conduct market research to identify potential customers and understand their needs and requirements.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
    • Conduct regular follow-ups with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional sales.
    • Data Management in our internal CRM Database
  • Product Promotion:
    • Present and demonstrate the features and benefits of our horizontal boring machines to potential customers.
    • Conduct on-site visits to customer locations to provide product demonstrations and technical support.
  • Sales Administration:
    • Prepare and deliver accurate sales reports, forecasts, and presentations.
    • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Maintain concise written reports after each phone call or in-person interaction with customers.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with other members of the sales team, marketing department, technical support team & head office in the Czech Republic to ensure a seamless customer experience.
    • Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to network and promote our machines.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in the industrial machinery, cutting tools or manufacturing sector.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong familiarity of the machine tool industry, cutting tools or similar industrial equipment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite & Google Workspace.
Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to travel across Canada and from time to time to head office in Europe.
  • Valid driver's license.
