Job Title: Yacht Broker

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Yacht Broker to join our team at United City Yachts. As a Yacht Broker, you will be responsible for generating and managing client listings in your territory, as well as providing exceptional customer service and closing sales.

About the Role:
  • Generate and manage client listings in your territory
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients
  • Cold call and network to build new listings
  • Manage client expectations and help with price adjustments
  • Show boats and coordinate with marketing staff to list vessels on websites and YachtWorld.com
  • Close sales and handle funds and escrow
Requirements:
  • College or University degree an asset
  • Minimum of 5 years' sales experience
  • Experience working in Yacht sales or related industry with expertise with boats
  • Proficiency and experience with computers and mobile devices and working with software applications
  • Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office or Google G-Suite
Preferred Skills:
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Highly experienced and well-versed in internet search literacy, cloud-based platforms, social media platforms, and mobile applications
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Positive attitude and team player
  • Attention to detail
Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year, commensurate with experience.

Location:

Vancouver, BC

Work Environment:

This is an independent contractor position, and you must reside within 45 minutes of the territory you are applying for.

Availability:

You must be willing to work overtime, weekends, weekdays, holidays, and evenings to accommodate client schedules and meet deadlines.
