Job Summary

As a Clinical Support Specialist with Northern Health Authority, you will play a vital role in the delivery of safe, efficient, and quality primary services through virtual support services. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced virtual healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide operational and administrative support at the virtual Tele-Care clinic setting in accordance with Northern Health policies and procedures.
• Manage workspace in MOIS, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Assist with booking population public health/MHO requests and follow up on lab requisitions and test results.
• Ensure that consistency is maintained for appointment bookings, ensuring that appointments display on the correct date and daybook.

Requirements

• Grade 12 education and graduation from an Office Assistant Course from an accredited Community College, plus two years recent experience in a healthcare setting.
• Demonstrated experience with MOIS and ability to type 40 WPM.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
