About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team at Calgary Dental Group. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Dentist: Provide support to our dentists during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Instrument Preparation: Prepare and sterilize dental instruments, ensuring they are ready for use.
  • X-Ray Services: Take and develop X-rays, providing critical diagnostic information for our dentists.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, promoting healthy habits and a positive patient experience.
  • Clerical Duties: Perform administrative tasks, including preparing invoices, processing payments, and scheduling appointments.
  • Intra-Oral Duties: Assist with intra-oral procedures, such as removing sutures, taking vital signs, and applying desensitizing agents.
Requirements
  • Dental Assisting Certification: Possess a valid dental assisting certification in Alberta.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring effective interaction with patients and colleagues.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain accurate patient records and demonstrate strong attention to detail in all aspects of the role.
  • Multitasking: Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
What We Offer
