Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Procedure Preparation
    • Prepare patients for dental examinations by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring they are comfortable and relaxed.
    • Prepare dental instruments and materials for procedures, ensuring they are clean and sterile.
  • Administrative Support
    • Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and maintaining accurate records.
    • Assist with billing and insurance claims, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Clinical Support
    • Assist dentists and hygienists with procedures, such as taking X-rays, preparing patients for treatment, and maintaining a clean and organized treatment area.
    • Monitor and maintain dental equipment, ensuring it is in good working order and properly sanitized.
  • Patient Education
    • Provide patients with education on oral hygiene, including proper brushing and flossing techniques, and the importance of regular dental check-ups.

Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a dental setting
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
