About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dental Laboratory Assistant to join our team at JAIJIA DENTAL LAB. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will play a crucial role in assisting our dental technicians in the preparation of dental prosthetics and appliances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of Dental Models and Moulds: Assist in the preparation of plaster models and moulds for dental prosthetics and appliances.
  • Casting and Finishing: Cast gold or metal alloys for bridges and denture bases, and finish metal frameworks of dentures.
  • Wax Work and Polishing: Mould wax over dentures set-up, pack plastic material in moulds to form full or partial dentures, and polish and buff dentures.
  • Orthodontic Band Fabrication: Make orthodontic bands from metal and alloys.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all dental prosthetics and appliances meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma in a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a dental laboratory setting.
  • Work Setting: Commercial dental laboratory environment.
  • Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking; attention to detail; hand-eye coordination.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, dependable, interpersonal awareness, reliability.
