Job Description

Job Title: Pediatric Dental Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team at Pediatric Dental Clinic. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our pediatric patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Chairside Assisting: Assist dentists with clinical procedures, including instrumentation and sterilization.
  • Patient Relationships: Establish strong relationships with patients and their families, maintaining ethical professional behavior at all times.
  • Treatment Room Preparation: Clean and prepare treatment rooms in accordance with infection control and practice protocols for each patient.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients, families, and staff.
  • Charting and Clinical Skills: Accurately chart patient information and possess excellent clinical skills to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, being able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Education and Certification: Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification and a minimum of 1 year of experience in a pediatric dental environment.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work well in a team environment, and proficiency in Dentrix software.
  • Language Skills: Arabic speaking communication skills would be a wonderful asset.
