About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in Hope, B.C. as a Temporary Part-Time Emergency/Medical/Hospice Registered Nurse. The ideal candidate will possess excellent assessment and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a member of our interprofessional care team, you will provide direct patient care, assess patients, develop care plans, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery.

Our Emergency/Medical/Hospice team is dedicated to providing exceptional care to patients in need. Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have a current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) and one year's recent experience providing emergency nursing care in an acute/rural hospital setting. You should also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Additional requirements include:
• Current cardiac monitoring skills
• Current emergency assessment and medical assessment skills
• Ability to determine and deal with emergency situations and make appropriate clinical decisions
• Ability to initiate intravenous therapy and maintain I.V. lines
