Instrumentation Technician Journeyperson

At Jardeg-Construction, we are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Technician Journeyperson to join our team at the CNRL Horizon site in Fort McMurray, Alberta. This is a permanent position starting July 4th on a 7/7 day shift rotation, working 12 hours per day.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain instrumentation systems, utilizing tubing expertise and working with DCS systems and control hierarchy.
  • Work with various instrument manufacturers, including Rosemount, VEGA, Krohne, Flowserve, Metso, Fisher, and Yokogawa.
  • Exhibit advanced proficiency with electronic dead weight testers, process meters, Ralston pumps, and other simulating testing equipment.
  • Read and comprehend drawings, specifications, P&IDs, ILPs, and isometrics.
Requirements:
  • Valid Journeyperson certification as an Instrumentation Technician or equivalent.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and adherence to industry regulations.
  • Physical aptitude to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and working at heights.
